How the connection works
What is MCP?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard developed by Anthropic that lets AI assistants securely connect to apps and services.

When you connect your AI assistant to Maicasa via MCP, your assistant can read your property data, tasks, and budget — and write back to Maicasa when you ask it to save something.

Think of it like giving your AI assistant a secure key to your Maicasa account — one that you can revoke at any time, and that only works when you start a conversation.

How it works in practice

You open Claude.ai or ChatGPT and start a conversation. Your AI assistant connects to Maicasa in the background and retrieves the data relevant to your question — your properties, tasks, quotes, or budget.

When you ask it to save something — a new task, a quote, a note — it writes that back to Maicasa directly. You see the change in the app immediately.

The connection is only active during your conversation. When you close the chat, the connection closes too.

Tips and tricks
Get more from your assistant

Start with "What should I do at [property name] this week?" to get a prioritised action plan.

Share a photo of a quote or invoice and ask your assistant to save it to the right task.

Ask "What are my highest priority tasks?" for a ranked list of what needs doing.

Use the Ask AI button in the booking wizard to compare providers for a specific job.
